Three movies I saw in the summers of 68-70 stand out in my mind today. One was “The Green Berets” starring John Wayne in the Viet Nam epic. Second was “Angel in My Pocket” a comedy starring Andy Griffith and featuring Jerry Van Dyke as an alcoholic brother-in-law. (Heaven forbid.) The third was The Beatles in “Let It Be”. These movies were so far apart in the messages served up. The writers, producers and directors - and often the “stars” ideas were all reflected in beautiful Technicolor and really big heads. Like these podcasts except for the enlarged craniums. Varied songs and styles within and changes coming daily. All tunage ear-picked by Uncleshag especially for the Longtown Listeners.
