Longtown Sound 272
It’s Pancake Wednesday with a twist - A Crown Royal twist. Twisted? Yep, sure sounds twisted. Rockers are like that, though. Blood, sweat and tears, just to get it right, just for one night, just for three frickin’ minutes?? Yep, break it all down, load up and head on over to Denny’s, I-Hop or Waffle House. The life of many musicians is based on the good or bad HDL in the fat used to cook your breakfast. Hah! Stick with the buckwheat, you can’t go wrong. The tunage today will ease you over the hump day and strengthen you for the coming weekend. Enjoy!

Hey Unc. thanks for the comment to reassure the Soul Patrol. A lot of us think things are gonna be better for him and us. Taylor never quite fit in out there anyway and we are and always will be on his side and proud of him. To those fans who don’t have access to his website, he has left a message to the Soul Patrol “Sit tight-the best is yet to come”-so he’s fine with things and I look forward to hearing better things from Taylor in the future-and keep on playing the Soul Man unc. We appreciate it and I know Taylor does!

Thank you soooo much for your continued support of Taylor and Bo. What would we do
without you, Unc????

Dear OBG and Gypsee,
So glad to read that no one going into fits over this! lol!
TSP has the best and brightest fans. Longtown and WLSO continues to support Taylor because he’s simply the best at what he does and no one else comes close. Carry on, ladies!

Unc…you don’t have to worry about Taylor fans keeping their cool. We know this is the best thing in the workd for him! I think what most of us feel is anticipation (I feel a little Carly Simon coming on!). You’re right, he simply IS the best! Now, where are those buckwheat’s?!? This makes me want to go to the world famous Pancake Pantry here in Nashville…yum!!

HOAD for some maybe BUT us SP’ers see this as a time for celebration! Finally ~ Taylor has his freedom! Freedom to show everyone what he’s got! Move over & get prepared for ‘Totally Taylor’!
Taylor has more artistry in his little finger (either one) than most music artists have in their entire bodies. We are looking forward to supporting our ‘Soul Man’ more than ever. The
‘anchors’ have been eliminated!!!
WOOOOOOOOOO!
And to you Unc ~ thank you for your continued support. You are so appreciated♥

Unc, we thank you for supporting so many new artists. This is a great site to visit. Taylor also has a heart for new artists. It must be the roads you’ve both walked. It may have been a HOAD but now the road is brighter. Ü

Hey unc. I am posting for my good friend from TMO Jazzytide-she wants to say thanks for supporting Taylor-like the others here she thinks he’s the greatest at what he does and she can’t wait for the all the Taylor greats of 2008!!
January 9th, 2008 at 5:21 pm
Hey Shannon!
No worries here about you strong of heart SP’ers. Glad to see the support is there, All he ever needed anyway!
Hey Medo!
Thanks for the kind words, always appreciated they are. I used to RUN the roads, now satisfied to crawl the web in search of the best talent I can find for the shows.
Dear Susan,
Post a link if you have the interview available. I saw SwampdaWamp early last year at the Double Doors on the Lake (Lake Norman, NC) and they were cooking then, they vould only have gotten more seasoned since. Thanks for the comments!
OK OBG, posting for JT… lol! Amen to Jazzy’s comments. We can all look forward to Taylor’s next CD knowing it’ll be All Taylor.
Thanks folks,

Great music today, Unc. I’m especially loving SwampdaWamp and 5 Miles West. Of course, Mr. Hicks has won me as a fan as well.
I love reading all the overseas locations where people are listening in. Speaks volumes for great music and the man who is presenting it to us.
THANKS!

I want to add more thanks for your support of Taylor on this station Uncleshag. The Soul Patrol is celebrating the fact that Taylor is going to record his next album independenly. No bad news there. Great music on your show too.

Hey Aragall!
Swamp is really playing some great shows all over, last week with David Allen Coe. Gig Michaels (pic above)is lead singer and helluva nice guy. He’s got a blog out there of the life of a rock star. Oh yeah. The locations, freaky isn’t it. You know, over 700 hours of music on these servers including Mike Pell’s Rockollections and Planet Music interviews, lots of folks worldwide have their favorite shows or singers bookmarked and some come everyday! Google sends a LOT of traffic this way.
Thanks for the kind words…

Unc. - How sweet you are to shout out to the SP regarding Taylor’s departure from Arista. Thank you for being the good guy you are. Yes, Taylor will be fine. We’re sure of it. It’s just difficult getting past the negative media. Hearing your positive words brings a smile!

Why can’t all radio stations be run by or have DJs like you, a knowledgeable music lover doing his thing?! So glad I found this place!
