ROCKOLLECTIONS: IS YOUR SHRINK ON SUMMER VACATION? PSYCHOTHERAPY PT.1
Well I guess we can take the Gone Fishin’ sign down for a while.
I am back with an uneasy peace.
It was great to take over a month off, I feel refreshed, and yet the thought of continuing to do this weekly is a daunting one.
As Mom used to say, we shall see what we shall see.
And naturally, being the contrarian rebel that I am, I am back with a SERIES!
Dedicated to all who don’t like series, lol!
Since this show is a reflection of me and my rebellious ways, what else would you expect?
Series require the most thought and work, yet are the most fun for me.
I don’t know yet how long it will go- but when I feel I am done it will end.
No playlist, no restrictions, no limits- that’s what Free-Form is.

Why?
It occurred to me during my mental rest that the month of August is notorious for being the time of year that Psychiatrists, Psychologists and Psychotherapists go on vacation, leaving their patients…oops…clients…fearful, anxious and on their own.
So I will fill the void, giving you 56 to 58 minute sessions instead of the 45 to 50 minute ones they do.
The Doctor is IN!

I don’t know who she is, but a Roger wrote he doesn’t like them either.
I will be getting to that, here and in the show.
Give me a Theme and I’ll give you 3 or 4 hours on it, lol!

A Message to Roger.
I do the shows from home, and I don’t have Engineer Ken anymore.
That is ALL that has changed.
I haven’t changed a bit!
You mentioned I would previously play a Tom Rush.
In my most recent Theme on Rivers I played Eric Andersen, certainly from the same school and a contemporary of Tom’s.
And predictable?
I doubt that in that Rivers series you would have predicted I would play David Ackles, Greg Brown, Ray Charles, Don McLean, Dan Fogelberg, and even Pat Boone to name a few.
I enjoy doing Themes, and with the way I do them they are more intellectually challenging to me and the audience.
And no matter how good and anticipatory you are, with the exception of maybe one song, I doubt you would have predicted ANY of what I played in this opening episode!
I don’t want to lose you as a listener, but I must disagree.
