Psalm 107:19-21 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress; he sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from destruction. Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wonderful works to humankind.
Exodus 23:25 You shall worship the Lord your God, and I will bless your bread and your water; and I will take sickness away from among you.
Psalm 30:2 O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me.
Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely he has borne our infirmities and carried our diseases; yet we accounted him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the punishment that made us whole, and by his bruises we are whole.
Proverbs 17:22 A cheerful heart is a good medicine, but a downcast spirit dries up the bones.
Psalm 103:2-5 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget all his benefits–who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the Pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good as long as you live so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Thanks for this show today Unc. Woke up hurting bad and decided to check my mail. When I saw the link I knew it was just what I needed. I’d like to meet that singer in the wheelchair.
Thanks again, hugs and kisses to you
Dear Anonymous,
I was waiting for you.
I hope many hear this program and receive a mighty blessing as large or larger than I did while compiling the music.
Many in the program have gone on to their reward. George, Glen, Vestal, Mahalia. Joni and the others carry on the Great Commission. Blessings to them.
I’ll pray for you and you pray for me and we’ll get through this together!
Thank you!

Morning ~~~ beautiful music.
Thanks for the wonderful journey!
My husband really enjoyed the groups you featured this morning and asked if it’s possible to get your station locally in VA.
Thanks for the music today and always
UNC! What an upligting show! I hope & pray many will be blessed & renewed by the Holy Spirit’s message.
‘I Know Who Holds Tomorrow’ happens to be my favorite Gospel song. I Live by it. Joni E-T has such a wonderful spirit & acceptance of life itself. She shines with the spirit & Love of the Lord.
Thank you for this amazing ‘first day of the rest of our lives’. God Bless, Unc♥
Dear Julie,
It’s a great morning on the Way! Let your husband know that I was thinking about him when I recorded the show earlier this day. I recall on one of the last Sunday Editions when you wrote and related how he liked the gospel music featured. Thank him for me, will you?
Unfortunately, the only way to hear any of the shows on WLSO.FM is via the internet…for the time being. Maybe you could contact your local stations and ask them about carrying the Longtown Sound.
One would be hard pressed to find any radio stations carrying the messages included in the Longtown Sound Sunday or weekdays with the all Independent artists/labels music.
On the other hand, the show is always available here 24/7 and I encourage all to send friends this way or download the shows to mp3 players or burn to a CD. Pass it along that way to friends and shut-ins.
Thanks for the kind thoughts.

Dear Gr8,
You always “get it” and I hope you continue to the rest of your days. You are a peach without the pit!!
I agree with you concerning Joni - she’s been a blessing and inspiration to so many for so long. I first saw and heard her with the Billy Graham Organization twice back in the day.
Go ahead and have a beautiful day - for the rest of your life!

Here it is Monday and I just finished listening to your weekend show. Just what I needed to hear this snowy morning. The LORD knew when I needed to hear it. Thanks Unc for providing. Ü
Dear Medo,
Thanks, gal. Your comment hits the spot! When Sarah McLachlan sang “The sky knows just when to snow - The seeds know when to grow” it really hits home. Ordinary Miracles.

Hey Unc-sorry so late hearing this-been busy getting the future going. The Cathedrals are my favorite gospel group-George Younce reminds me a lot of my late father-both in looks and in testimony. I had the honor of being in a church choir one night backing up the Cathedrals in concert and I could hardly sing my part for listening to them have so much fun and being such a joyful witness for the Lord. Thanks for not being afraid to still bear witness to the “Truth”
and broadcast the best music in the world. God Bless.
