Unc - I know I’m a little late getting to listen to this show but that’s the beauty of your podcasts….I can catch up any time I want. I enjoyed todays lineup; some of the songs in the middle reminded me of ‘new’ late ’50’s - early’60’s music. lol! Keep ‘em rollin. Ü
Medo,
You are so right. These shows, archived and fresh are being hit continuously by someone, somewhere in the world.
Many older shows have thousands of downloads, which I suspect is a result of a “favorite” link to a show that someone listens to every day, like a favorite CD or mixtape.
Some listeners write to say that they EXERCISE to the show… seems far fetched, but I’ll take it on their word!
Then, some say they clean house to the music, which, with my OCD, I fully wrap my little mind around.
Finally, office workers trapped in the sterile, cubicle confines of fluorescent lighting and off white walls with olive/bronze trim would surely go mad, insane, yea, bonkers without the daily dose of vitamin enriched tuneage found only at the Longtown Sound.
Wordy, huh? lol!
Where do you listen?

Interesting question. I do work out to the podcast and d/l them to take in my truck. Today I’m canning Dilly Beans to the weekend show.
I’m always encouraging listeners to d/l and burn them to a cd to play in their vehicles. It’s the way to go to great music anytime or anywhere. Ü
